Welcome to Mimikyu Forums! While we encourage our patrons to be their genuine selves, there are a few guidelines we enforce to ensure everyone enjoys their time here.
Respect Others
After all, we're one big happy family! Respect the administrative team, including any "controversial" decisions they may make. Flaming and trolling are explicitly not allowed. Do not instigate conflict or argue in public threads or chatboxes. Any discrimination towards another member on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, etc. are absolutely not tolerated.
No Spamming
Self-explanatory. Pointless posting and submissions which do not contribute substantially to the thread itself are not allowed. This includes double posting in a thread. The only exceptions to double posting are your own personal literature, art, or shop threads.
No Advertising
We're a small enough community as it is, so do not use Mimikyu Forums as a vehicle to expand your own forum. Manifest Destiny shit is not tolerated.
No Plagiarism
Cite sources for any art or text which is not your own original content - it's only fair.
No Necroposting
If a topic has not been active in six weeks, then we consider it dead. Do not revive these threads. We work to lock these dead threads such that this isn't even a possibility, but things happens.
No Obscene Materials
Do not post graphic or pornographic content, including indirect links to such content. Swearing is allowed, as long as it is not used to flame other members.
No Duplicate Accounts
No Mini-Modding
If you're not on the administrative team, it's not your job to moderate. If something makes you uncomfortable, feel free to PM a staff member about it; but do not assert these claims in the thread itself.
No Oversized Avatars or Signatures
This one is really up to the administrative team's discretion, but if your signature or avatar are too large or otherwise disruptive to the posts themselves, we will ask you to edit them down.
NO EPILEPTIC TRIGGERS
Self-explanatory. Any flashy pictures which rapidly change colors can induce seizures on certain people - those images are not welcome here.
